There are plenty of places to run, climb and swing in the new playground at Cedartown’s Peek Park.
It’s taken hundreds of volunteer hours and more than $800,000 in donations from companies and stakeholders, but a new place for children to play is almost ready.
City of Cedartown officials are set to hold the grand opening of the new Peek Park playground Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in conjunction with the first day of the Cedar Valley Arts Festival.
