Cedartown police responded to screwdriver stabbing

Cedartown police responded to Polk Medical Center on July 28 in reference to a patient with a stab wound.

According to reports, the victim said he was in an altercation in the parking lot of Casey’s Food Store, 419 S. College St. and was stabbed in his right forearm with a screwdriver.

The victim refused to tell police any further information regarding the incident, reports said.

Police told him to contact Polk 911 if he decided to give more information.
