Initial report: Seven arrested by Polk police

Seven people are in the Polk County Jail following their arrests early this morning, according to jail docket reports.

According to reports, the arrests of the Rockmart residents were made by Polk County police officers. An unconfirmed report indicates a federal agency was also involved.

More arrests could be made tonight.

Those arrested include:

Tamar Michelle Latimore, 29, Antwon Comon Wilson, 48, Debra Roshell McCary, 40, Edward Denard Wilson, 25, Anthony Lajuan McCrary, 21 and William Anthony Cooper, 43, all of 527 Pine Road, Rockmart.

The other arrest was for Demon Eugene Wilson, 30, of 208 Dever St., Rockmart.

All were brought to the jail at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. No charges are listed. More information will be available Friday.
