Krista Marie Robinson, 30, of 260 Robinson Road, Cedartown, was charged with a Christmas Day, 2008, burglary of an Antioch Road residence. She was also charged with theft by taking for allegedly stealing a package of disposable razors.
Robinson has now entered a guilty plea with the court and will now face sentencing.
Robinson is familiar with the police.
She was arrested Feb. 8 after a short police chase and wreck on Piedmont Highway where she was a passenger. The driver, Michael Lamar Pool, 41, of Leesburg, Ala., was wanted by the police. A police officer recognized him on the side of the road and a chase began and ended quickly when Pool struck a propane storage tank.
Robinson was charged on 10 counts, including charges from the February incident and old warrants. The charges included of conspiracy to commit a crime, manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, methamphetamine possession, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and a seatbelt violation.
Robinson has yet to stand trial on those charges.
Among the other cases up for trial next week are the rape and sexual battery trial of Roy Ireland Trammel and the separate case of Glen Whorton, who is accused of child molestation and sexual battery.
Trammel is accused of raping and sexually assaulting an adult female Aug. 10, 2009. The Cedartown Standard and Rockmart Journal do not release the names of victims in rape cases, according to its policy.
Whorton is accused of sexually assaulting and molesting a girl under age of 16 between June 1 and June 30, 2007.
A 2008 armed robbery case was on the trial calender for this past week, but remains in court limbo for now.
Rendell Russell and Anthony Lavell Wheeler are charged with robbing BoJangles at gunpoint Oct. 16, 2008. Both have pleaded not guilty and no new continuances or pleas are entered into public courtroom records.
