An Aragon man remained at the Floyd County Jail Saturday morning after being arrested in a DUI traffic stop, reports stated.

According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:

Travis Ray Campbell, 31, of 51 Old Wax Road in Aragon, was jailed on felony charges of burglary, criminal damage to property, terroristic threats and acts along with a misdemeanor of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Campbell was alleged to have been stopped in a silver 1999 Dodge truck around 8 p.m. after 911 received a call that he was driving around the projects and talking to kids. After running him through field sobriety tests found he was intoxicated.

Police reported that once in custody and on the way to jail, Campbell threatened officers and beat on the cage in the window separating the front and back seats.

After officers stopped to handcuff him behind his back, he was transported to the jail without further incident.

Campbell was also alleged to have entered an apartment on Maple Street earlier Friday evening and destroyed several items. Police reported the cost of the damage done was estimated at $500.
