Gibbs said he and his family went to a relative’s house to exchange gifts, according to police reports. When they returned around 5:30 p.m., Gibbs found the front door kicked in and extensive doorframe damage.
He said, while none of the high-end electronic equipment was taken from the home, most of the presents he and his wife bought for his son were stolen including a Dell desktop.
The loss is valued at more than $2,000, reports said.
