James William Hood of 942 Shiloh Road, Cedartown, is currently charged with possession of child porn, and electronic furnishing of obscene material, and giving obscene material to a minor. He remains in the Floyd County Jail without bond and is being held for Polk County authorities.
Hood was arrested in Polk County June 25 and faces several charges in that case, according to the jail docket report.
Charges include 10 counts of child molestation, two counts of aggravated sodomy, two counts of sexual battery, cruelty to children in the first degree, enticing a child for indecent purposes, furnishing alcoholic beverages to someone under 21 years of age, 10 counts of rape and 10 counts of incest.
Meanwhile, one of the nine men arrested over the summer will go before a Polk County Grand Jury once his paperwork is in, according to officials in the district attorney’s office.
Officials said they are waiting on reports for Anthony Dwatt Holden, 23, of 4060 Braswell Mountain Road, Rockmart, before his case can be drawn before a grand jury.
Holden was arrested in September and is charged with aggravated child molestation, sodomy, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery and cruelty to children in the first degree.
He is accused of molesting a 6-year-old female relative.







Why aren't the most recent arrests of some of the most "affluent" men in the community posted along with the "similar stories" concerning child pornography and enticement?
NOT having them there is a glaring omission by the "news"paper.
