The third Annual Polk County Small Business Expo will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, from 3 to 7 p.m, at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Cedartown.

More than 40 Polk County businesses will showcase their products and services to all who attend, according to the Polk County Chamber, who coordinates the annual event.

The year’s event is sponsored by South-Tel Communications, United Bank and Trust and K-98.

The event is open to the public and admission is free. Many door prizes will be given away including a $100 drawing.

Over 300 people attended last year’s event.

Chamber officials stated the citizens of Polk County should be able to learn more about the products and services that are available in their county.

Polk Countians are encouraged to shop locally when possible, but often do not know about some of the businesses in Polk County.

The Expo will allow them to connect with Polk County businesses and help business-to-business networking.
