Atlanta Pro Basketball Camp – For the 20th conescutive year, the Atlanta Pro Basketball Camp, one of the most respected camps in the country, will again be held this Summer on the Reinhardt College Campus in Waleska, Georgia. The camp will be directed by Bob Reinhart, currently a scout for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA and the winningest coach in Georgia State University history. Coach Gerald Sharpe, men’s head basketball coach at Reinhardt will again serve as the assistant director of the camp.

The camp will run from July 8th to July 13th.

The Atlanta Pro Camp is for boys age eight through seniors in high school and is recognized as one of the finest basketball camps in the United States. It is well attended by young players in this area of North Georgia. The Camp is available for boarding campers and/or day campers. Enrollment is limited to 240 campers and applicants are received on a first-come, first served basis.

Hunter Safety Class – The Hunter Safety class will be offered March 13th and March 15th at the J.L. Lester Wildlife Management Area. Then class starts at 5:30 p.m. and will end at 9:30 p.m. each night. Students must attend both nights to be certified. Those wishing to attend should call the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to pre-register at 770-748-3732.
