Cedartown man charged after police chase in Rome

Authorities arrested a Cedartown man Wednesday on accusations he fled last week from a Rome police officer, got in a wreck and then ran from the scene, reports state.

Donald Joseph Bray, 31, of 1457 Doyle Road, faces one count each of reckless driving and driving while his license was revoked and four counts of running a stop sign, Floyd County Jail records state. The charges stem from a Feb. 20 chase down Flannery Street in Rome that ended in Bray and a woman fleeing the scene, Rome police said.
