1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Bert Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activities. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.
2. The Rockmart Civic Arts Commission 316 N. Piedmont Ave., Bldg. 300, Rockmart, holds open studio pottery classes Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with Instructor Paul Craighead. Classes are $15 per session. For more information call 706-843-5302.
3. Allison and Connie Shaw will once again be collecting donated prom dresses for Polk County students. Anyone with a new or gently used prom dress can donate by contacting Allison Shaw at 678-988-3710 or Connie Shaw at 770-749-1083.
