The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County this weekend, Jan. 12-13:

1. The Rockmart Civic Arts Commission will have its first gallery exhibit of 2013 on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

2. The Cedartown First United Methodist Church, 201 Wissahickon Ave., will hold Sunday morning services at 11 a.m.

3. The RCAC will hold the artist's reception will be held Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served and everyone is invited to attend.
