1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Bert Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activities. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.
2. Kids in Recovery meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Cedartown Library for kids ages 12 to 19-years-old with substance abuse problems. For more information call Pastor Sims, 770-546-0772.

4. AARP Tax-aide will once again be available at the Cedartown Library this year. This program provides free tax preparation and assistance to low and middle income taxpayers with special attention to those 60-years-old and over. The program will begin on Feb. 6, 2013 and continue every Wednesday until April 10, 2013. Assistance will be provieded from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those interested are encouraged to come early to sign up as there are a limited number of returns that can be prepared daily. Registrants need their social security cards and ID.
