GAINESVILLE, GA. — Police in Gainesville are working with state officials to investigate a fatal shooting at a car dealership.

Gainesville Police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook says authorities were called to a Mitsubishi dealership around 7:45 a.m. Friday. Upon arriving, Holbrook says police found a man who had been shot to death.

Holbrook says the victim is a car dealership employee and his colleagues told authorities they found him dead. Information on where the man was wounded was not immediately available.

Authorities are unsure of the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and say they're working to notify the victim's family. The identity of the slain man has not been released.

Holbrook says there were no witnesses and no suspects were taken into custody.
