1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Bert Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activities. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.
2. The Cedartown library also hosts story time for children every Thursday at 11 a.m..
3. The Cedartown Parks and Recreation Authority offers line-dancing lessons from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday in the Christian Center located at 605 Lanton Drive.
4. First Baptist of Cedartown is currently holding free “Mind, Body and Soul” Christian yoga classes on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This is a gentle class for people who wan to increase their range of painless movement.
