She was a lifelong resident of Rock Run, a member of Rock Run Baptist Church and was a retired textile worker.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Poole; parents, Sim and Leona Tierce; a brother, Bill Tierce and two sisters, Janelle Rhinehart and Mary Tierce.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Fred Rhinehart of Rock Run; one sister, Glenda Plemons of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two grandsons and a niece.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at Thompson Funeral Home in Piedmont with the Rev. Ricky Pollard and the Rev. Jeff Chambers officiating. Burial was at Union Grove Cemetery in Rock Run.
Pallbearers were Jeff Rhinehart, Joe Tierce, Gene Williams, Terry Plemons, David Rhinehart, Cody Poole and Lewis Plemons.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
