The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, April 5:

1. The Cedartown library holds story time for children ages 18 months to 6 years each Thursday at 10 a.m. next to the reading castle. The session lasts for approximately 20 minutes.

2. The Polk Retired Educators are scheduled to meet next at 11 a.m. April 5, and 5 p.m. May 10. For more information, call Annie Vaughn 770-748-4200 or Gladys Gipson at 770-748-4347.

3. There is an old time Baptist camp meeting udner the old Gospel tent in Rockmart at 7:30 p.m. each night this week. The tent is located at 750 Goodyear Ave., Rockmart.
