Thanks, polkweb. The next step is for these gas suppliers to get rid of their outdated unleaded signs. Every time I see one, it drives a spike into my brain. Maybe someone could do an opinion article about how silly it is to still tout having unleaded gas like there was any other type to choose from. Fast work!!!

You have a point, I'm going to edit that.

Notice how the article stated "prices for regular unleaded gasoline"? And you can still see lots of signs that say "unleaded". We haven't had "leaded" gas for over a quarter of a century. ALL gasoline we purchase for our cars and trucks is unleaded. It's about time "unleaded" was dropped, don't ya think?

Gas prices went up as I drove across I-20 to Augusta on Thursday and went up higher as I drove home Friday. I saw $3.65 outside Augusta at 5PM Friday but most of the gas stations near Atlanta had $3.35
