Mildred Freeman, 84, of Alexandria, Ala., passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in Cedartown.
Mrs. Freeman was the oldest charter member of United Fellowship Baptist Church and served many years as the church treasurer. She was retired from Hall Building Materials.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda McCarley (Jimmy) of Cedartown; her son, Ray Reeves, (Sherry) of Gaylesville, Ala.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at United Fellowship Baptist Church in Alexandria, Ala. with the Revs. Reggie Kirk, Billy Dempsey and Tommy Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends Friday evening at the funeral home and one hour before the service at the church Saturday.
Pallbearers were John Ezelle, Leo Conring, Jeff Pinkston, Stacy Stone, Steven Stone and Larry Webb. Honorary pallbearers, charter members of United Fellowship Baptist Church, will be Echols Bryant, James White, Jim Schroth, Ronnie Smitherman, Phillip White and Jimmy Stone.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the United Fellowship Baptist Church, 162 Becky Turner Dr., Alexandria, AL 36250.
