Mr. Douglas Elbert Stephens, 63, of Blountsville, Ala., passed away Sunday, July 4.

Surviving are his wife Diane Stephens; son, Scott Stephens; daughters, Carey and Bryan Fikes and Carla and Carl Mooney; mother, Ruth Stephens; brothers, Donnie and Peggy Stephens, and Gary and Peggy Stephens; sisters, Virginia and David Hooper, and Sara and Larry Robinson; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 7, at 2 p.m., in Pine Bower Baptist Church in Cedartown with Rev. Jason Laudermilk officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

The Blountsville Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
