Mr. Forrest L. Hagan Jr., 83, of Commerce, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010.

He was born in Rockmart, to the late, Forrest L. and Ellen Cosby Hagan Sr. He was a business owner and was a Navy veteran. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce, BJC Hospital Authority, former member of the Kiwanis Club, and a former Jackson County Commissioner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marthella Hagan.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Lee and Gina Hagan of Maysville; daughter; K. Ellen Hagan, of Commerce; a niece and several nephews.

The funeral service will be Thursday, July 5, at 2 p.m., from the First United Methodist Church of Commerce with the Dr. David Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Memorial Gardens.
