The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today, Oct. 10:

1. First United Methodist Church in Cedartown will sell pumpkins from Oct. 10-29, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 1-7 p.m. on Sundays. Pumpkin bread, fall crafts and garden mums will also be for sale.

2. The Compassionate Friends of Polk County meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Second Baptist Church, 152 Evergreen Lane, in Cedartown (across from Cherokee Elementary School).

3. The Cedartown City Commission, 201 East Ave, will meet tonight at 7 p.m.
