Congressman Phil Gingrey will be hosting a health care town hall meeting, scheduled for August 19 at 2 p.m.

The 90-minute session will be held in the Commissioner's Room at the Ga. State Patrol office in Cedartown.

More than 200 people attended a recent meeting at Georgia Highlands to discuss proposed health care legislation. Gingrey was among those who expressed negative opinions about the reform bill spearheaded by President Barack Obama.

The public is invited to attend and encouraged to bring topics for discussion.
