The five Georgia law schools – Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS), Georgia State University College of Law, Emory University School of Law, Mercer University School of Law, and University of Georgia School of Law – present Law School 101in cooperation with the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) Discover Law Months for high school and undergraduate college students from underrepresented racially and ethnically diverse groups, who are interested in pursuing a legal career.
The event, which is hosted by AJMLS this year, will be held from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the school’s Blackburn Conference Center. The event is free for attendees and will provide prospective law school students an introduction on preparing for law school. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to attend a mock class taught by an AJMLS professor, learn the importance of undergraduate performance, as well as tips to make their law school application stand out.
